The recent decision to ban the sale of all cars and trucks by 2035 powered by an internal combustion engine. The  infrastructure to support this decision does not exist at this time and there is no way that California is going to be able to raise the enormous amounts of money to build that infrastructure without a massive increase in taxes. In addition the decision makes the assumption that the technology of battery powered cars will be available to make battery powered vehicles usable in all parts of the state, in all weather conditions and all the different terrain in the state. There is no reason to believe that this will occur before the cutoff date.

I voted for Newsom. I believed that he would be a good leader. But as soon as the pandemic hit, he showed that he was hungry for power. Instead of looking for balance and middle ground he instead rampaged ahead with his personal paranoias and implemented a policy of “no this, no that! Oh and if you find something fun to do, no that!”…

I cannot put up with authoritarianism, neither left nor right!

I don’t know of any reason NOT to recall Gavin Newsom as Governor of California. He has repeatedly abused his power, and lied to the people he swore to represent. He has granted early release to criminals, forced businesses and churches to close (many never to reopen) and has kept kids out of school regardless of how it affects their mental, physical and emotional health and stability. He will continue to erode whatever freedoms we have left if he remains in office.

I have many reasons for my seeking that Gavin Newsom be recalled and removed as Governor of the State of California.
Two of my reasons at the top of my list are his decisions to (1)  make CA a Sanctuary State for Illegals and Criminals and (2)  Open Borders.

Newsom endorsed Proposition 16. If Proposition 16 passes in November, it will legalize racial preferences in the University of California admissions process. Also, he is nothing but a rubber stamp for the Democratic supermajority in the state legislature and their radical agenda.

Reasons to recall Gavin begin with handling of California economy. Highest gasoline taxes; failure to stop riots; failure to hire police and firefighters; handling of wildfires; Fail to address homeless population; open boarders and Sanctuary Cities.
So many reasons, so little time!

  1. His secretive $1 Billion mask deal to a China automaker, without CA legislature approval.  This amount  spent in the U.S. would have put a lot of people to work!
  2. Releasing nearly 18,000 prisoners, who will need food and shelter.  Without resources for these, they will be committing crimes again!  I feel very afraid.
  3. Or he will be housing them, the same as he has done with 15,000 homeless.  Project Room key giving them Free hotel rooms, using our Tax dollars!  With no end in sight.  He failed to solve this homeless issue as SF Mayor, 8 years as Lt. Governor, and now as Governor!

There are a lot of reasons why I am recalling Gavin Newsom.

First is his ridiculous statewide mandate that forces everyone to wear masks, Governor Newsom has come out and threatened to not fund counties who do not wish to enforce this ridiculous policy-the problem with this is that a lot of needed services could be cut because of this, and also Governor Newsom also left it up to the individual counties on the individual enforcement. I really feel that his outrageous mask mandate violates a person’s 1st amendment right.

The second action that I am going to complain about is in regards to Governor Newsom’s outrageous executive order to force everyone to vote by mail, and he is using covid-19 and his outrageous stay at home order to force this upon us, I believe that this violates a person’s constitutional right to go to the polls and vote.

Governor Gavin Newsom recently amended his ban on large gatherings to include same family gatherings, and banned individuals for exercising their first Amendment right by banning singing at houses of worship.

The third reason I am recalling Gavin Newsom is hi ridiculous policy of giving tax payer funds to illegal aliens in a time where the state is in a 54.6 billion dollar deficit, and the people of the state of California are out of work.

The fourth reason I am recalling Gavin Newsom is his ban on large gatherings, and it’s effect on the Entertainment industry. The Entertainment industry is a crucial part of California’s economy-with the Entertainment industry shut down there is no way for the state to recover from this economic disaster.

My partner and I just received an 18 page question survey from the Rand organisation and paid for by the State of California. We both wonder just how many millions of tax payer dollars the State of California has wasted on this. There are so many things that need to be done. Just a few. California has some of the worst roads in the country and some of the highest gasoline taxes. We are facing an economic disaster from Covid 19. There is the ever present threat of wildfires caused by mismanagement by the state.
The state of California is the most over regulated state in the country. On top of everything else there is this survey idiocy. Governor Newsom loves spending other peoples money on glitzy, glamorous self-promotion projects that have no benefit to Californians
