RECALLGAVIN2020 ISSUES STATEMENT REGARDING DECISION LIFTING THE STAY-AT-HOME ORDER
PRESS RELEASE
Monday, January 25, 2021
It is being reported from several major media outlets that California Governor Gavin Newsom will possibly be ending his economic death grip on tens of thousands of businesses on Monday by lifting the stay-at-home order.
In a statement, Orrin Heatlie, the Lead Proponent of the official recall campaign against Governor Newsom (RecallGavin2020.com) said the following: “The recall effort against Governor Gavin Newsom has reached critical mass and continues to build momentum. So, he’s now taking steps to loosen the screws on those held captive to maintain what grasp he still holds on the state.”
What is really going on? One day there is a new highly contagious strain of the virus and cities are placing signs to warn people when they are entering a “COVID hot zone”. The next day the stay-at-home order is lifted. The people need clear leadership to rely on during a crisis and Gavin Newsom just doesn’t offer that.”
Fellow proponent Mike Netter added, “Public sentiment about the decision has been mixed as reflected by people on both sides of the issue reacted to the news on Twitter this morning.
Tiffany Tweeted, “Basically Newsom is afraid of the @recallgavin2020 and is lifting the stay-at-home order to save his own political career. It’s the right thing to do for the wrong reasons.”
Naomi tweeted, “We were right again. I voted for this admin, but the politics of this move are so shameless, the economic devastation so heartless.”
Mike concluded, “Nobody seems to think the matter is being handled properly.”
