Orrin Heatlie-Lead Proponent

Mike Netter-Coalition Founding Member

Dan Seoane-Coalition Co-founder

Orrin was born and raised in Folsom Ca. where he and his family still reside today. The first years of his professional life were spent helping manage a small family business. In 1991 he left the business to pursue a career in Law Enforcement.

Orrin recently retired after serving 25 years as Sergeant with the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office. During his career, he played an instrumental role in the management of nearly every team and division within the department. Most notably, he was a founding member and lead Negotiator in charge of the department Crisis Response and Hostage Negotiations Team. Orrin took special interest in mental health awareness and suicide prevention. He also supervised the department Marine Patrol and Search and Rescue Division. He served as a rescue technician, with specialized training in cliff rescue, white water rescue and advanced first aid. Orrin co- authored the “California State Boating and Waterways, Advanced Vessel Accident Investigation” instruction manual.

Beyond his primary assignment as Patrol Sergeant, Orrin led a variety of other successful programs within the department and was recognized as Manager of the year. He served as a firearms instructor, a less lethal weapons instructor and led the department Field Training Program. Orrin volunteered to instruct a state sponsored program to prevent racial profiling to help bridge the cultural divide and promote harmony between law enforcement and minority cultures.

In short, Orrin’s diverse supervisory background and his experience in public service has given him a broad set of skills. One of his strongest attributes is his ability to communicate, organize and coordinate. He is a strong leader, with solid core values and the drive to get the job done.

Orrin strongly feels that we, as a community, are now in a historic fight for the soul of California. He states, “That it's been far too long that we have allowed the liberal agenda to prevail unchecked”. We are now suffering the consequences of our collective inaction. The political lefts failed social policies are responsible for the decline of our state as seen with high taxes, over regulation, homelessness and poor quality of life. This has caused businesses and good people to leave by the millions. It is time for Californians to take a stand and reclaim our state. He feels we need to join forces and pool our resources to act quickly.

As the lead proponent of this recall, he sees the urgent need for people to send a strong message to those who govern! “They must be held accountable to the people they serve and this rogue Governor has lost sight of that and must be recalled!”

His first recollection of voting was in the 1984 Presidential election where he voted for Reagan and has mostly voted Red throughout his life. Politics have only come into play for Dan in the last 5 years when he felt that our Leadership here in California had lost its golden ways.

The 2018 Governor's race saw a chance to help the Travis Allen Campaign as the Data Manager in Santa Clara. After moving to Placer County, he became a voting member of the Placer County Republican Central Committee. Dan has spent the past 6 months working as the Placer County lead to Recall Gavin on the RANAF effort. He is very passionate about bringing back simple conservative values and following the Constitution. The big difference he believes that our group brings to the table is experience with the past recall effort. There is no one seeking notoriety or public office. We’ve only come together to help right the wrongs with California.

Robin McCrea- Chief Financial Officer-Corporate Accounts

Robin is a veteran Budget Officer/Analyst having recently held this position for 16 years with the College of Agriculture at Chico State. She was responsible for the management and oversight of $3.5 million budgets for the state and the foundation for the campus office and University Farm.

Robin has been politically active since 1972. She has worked for presidential and state campaigns throughout California in several capacities. While working with assemblymen in their state capitol and district offices, she gained a broad insight into constituent concerns.

Robin’s career also includes holding insurance licensing as well as a series 7 license. Her financial experience with retirement, over taxation, local and state political climate has given her additional insight into the reasons families’ are struggling and can no longer afford to plan for their futures in California.

In October 2019, Robin was inspired to join in the effort to Recall Governor Gavin Newsom. The governor’s actions that overrule the vote of the people, his executive orders, and the onslaught of legislation that he has signed infringing on our 2nd Amendment rights, and causing Californian’s bank accounts to diminish has brought her out of retirement.

Robin is concerned that California is dying rather than thriving. Families and business owners are leaving California in record numbers. Hardworking families are constantly challenged to survive by paying the highest income tax, the highest vehicle registration, highest gas tax and one of the highest property tax rates in the nation. She believes this recall is imperative to help save California and to alert the people of our nation that Newsom is not a viable governor or future presidential candidate. She is the CFO for corporate accounts for the RecallGavin2020 team.

Robin's engaged leadership style, work ethic and personal insight coupled with her transparent approach to financial management, is an important part to our success.

Christine Abercrombie-Secretary

Robin McCrea- Chief Financial Officer-Corporate Accounts

Robin McCrea- Chief Financial Officer-Corporate Accounts

Christine spent much of her life as an accredited Master Florist. For over a decade she owned a successful retail florist shop in Fair Oaks, California. Since that time she worked as an independent contractor. She recently lost her job, which she had held for the past 16 years, due to passage of AB - 5.

Christine was born and raised in Sacramento to parents that hailed from beautiful Southern California when MacArthur Park was the jewel of downtown Los Angeles and Venice was “Muscle Beach”. Christine was raised by faithful parents that instilled a relationship with God and an appreciation for California and love of country. She enjoys all the natural beauties of California, spending time with loved ones camping, boating and hiking. This very much attributes to her desire and passion to save California. In her free time you can find her on occasion “singing the blues” at local venues.

After being a small business owner in California, Christine had to overcome many of its associated challenges to be successful. She was heavily involved in community events that included nonprofits and charities. During this time, Christine participated with the boards of both the FTD Association and Friends for Survival Inc.

Christine's experiences as an independent contractor allowed her the freedom to travel both nationally and internationally. During her travels, she gained a new community and world perspective. She recognized that California is no longer what it once was. Like many of us, she is seeking a pathway to bring it back. With four generations of her family currently residing in California, it is extremely important for her to find ways to become involved and effect change.

Christine is now a vital member of the RecallGavin2020 management team. Her dedication and strong work ethic are a key component in her role as the lead Secretary. She will help ensure that the team is organized, keeps focus, stays on task to ensure that goals are met and promises are kept. Her focus is to help return the “Golden" to the Golden state.

Susan Hurd-Community Outreach Lead

Matthew Mickelson-Consulting Attorney

Matthew Mickelson-Consulting Attorney

Susan spent most of her working life as a legal assistant. She was born and raised in the Bay Area and moved to the Sierra Foothills in 1995. As a hard-working single mother raising two boys, Susan didn’t have the time to become active in politics, although she always stood firm in her belief in traditional values.

Susan was a dedicated employee with strong work ethics until she retired in 2019. Since that time, Susan has become involved in politics in an effort to help save California. She volunteers at her local Republican Headquarters and joined the efforts to Recall Governor Gavin Newsom. Susan has worked hard her entire life for what she has, and she has passed onto her children the beliefs and integrity that were instilled in her by her parents.

Watching our State crumble with Gavin Newsom raising taxes higher than most states in our country, giving our hard-earned money to illegal immigrants and taking away our constitutional rights, are just some of the reasons Susan has become deeply involved in politics.

Susan believes there needs to be more transparency in government. She believes that our schools are not receiving the funds that the taxpayers are paying, and California’s education system is far behind other states considering the vast amount of money being poured into the State by the people. Susan endeavors to see the State of California return to a thriving economy, reduce or eliminate the absurdly high taxes, return constitutional rights to the people, instill integrity and ethics, and stop Newsom from corrupting our State any further.
